I grieve and am bewildered most days. I’m trying hard, some days waaaay too hard, to discern this way of being. This wilderness you speak of is profoundly invitational for people to exhale even before we know exactly why…
This part: “BUT, there is a desperate need for voices to lead IN the wilderness. To discover life worth living outside of the hustle and the outrage.”
Very related to a conversation I had with my spiritual director yesterday. She says she is sensing the people trying to be the “glue” trying to bring a just society together are eager and listening for blunt, honest voices.
Wilderness leaders is a great identifier and I do think there are many out there.
